  Minutes of Wantage Township Board of Health
November 8, 2006

The Wantage Township Board of Health held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Wantage Township Municipal Building, 888 State Route 23 South, Wantage, New Jersey 07461 at 7:30 p.m.

Members present: Dr. Arthur H. Braunwell, Mrs. Gloria Li Trenta and Mr. Joseph Greenaway. Absent: Mrs. Susan Floyd, Mr. Daniel Pelt. Also present was Jeanne McBride, Secretary.

Mr. Greenaway made the following statement: “This meeting is being held in compliance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act, Public laws of 1975 Chapter 231. It has been properly advertised and certified”.

On motion by Dr. Braunwell, seconded by Mr. Greenaway, the minutes of October 11, 2006 were approved as presented and ordered filed.Roll call: Dr. Braunwell, Mrs. Li Trenta, Mr. Greenaway, yes, carried. Absent: Susan Floyd, Mr. Pelt.

Mr. Plaza was not in attendance; his reports will be discussed next month.

OLD BUSINESS
The Rabies Clinic on November 3, 2006 inoculated 94 cats and 228 dogs.

NEW BUSINESS

DISCUSSION
Mr. Greenaway informed the Board of a vicious dog bite that occurred on Holland Road. A dog was killed and the owner of the dog spent the night in the hospital.

OPEN PUBLIC SESSION
There being no members of the public present, President Greenaway dispensed with this segment of the agenda. There being no further business to discuss, a motion by Dr. Braunwell seconded by Gloria Li Trenta the meeting was adjourned.

Roll Call: Dr. Braunwell, Mrs. Li Trenta, Mr. Greenaway, yes, carried. Absent: Mrs. Floyd, Mr. Daniel Pelt.
