Wantage Township Ordinances

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WANTAGE ACCEPTING THE STREETS KNOWN AS MARIE COURT, DALE’S CROSSING, AND ADRIENNE COURT

BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of Wantage, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey, as follows:

Section 1. The following streets having been dedicated to the Township of Wantage by the making and filing of maps are hereby accepted as public streets:

Marie Court, as shown on a map entitled “Final Plat of a Major Subdivision of Block 154, Lot 15.02” dated May 19, 1989, Map No. 980 prepared by William E. Beardslee; and

Dale’s Crossing, as shown on a map entitled “Final Plat of a Major Subdivision of Block 154, Lot 15.02” dated May 19, 1989, Map No. 980 prepared by William E. Beardslee; and

Adrienne Court, as shown on a map entitled “Final Plat of a Major Subdivision of Block 154, Lot 15.02” dated May 19, 1989, Map No. 980 prepared by William E. Beardslee; and

Section 2. The Township Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of the adoption of this Ordinance as provided by law and to file a certified copy of this Ordinance in the Office of the Sussex County Clerk as provided by law.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect after publication and passage according to law.

Section 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application of this ordinance to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of this ordinance shall not be affected and shall remain in full force and effect.

Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions inconsistent or in opposition to the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed in their entirety.

Section 6. The Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of the adoption of this ordinance as provided by law and to file a certified copy of this Ordinance in the Office of the Sussex County Clerk as provided by the law.

Section 7. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect after publication and passage according to law.

NOTICE
TAKE NOTICE that the above entitled ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Township Committee of the Township of Wantage, County of Sussex, New Jersey, held on February 9, 2006, and will be considered for final passage after public hearing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Township Committee to be held on February 23, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building, Route 23, Wantage, New Jersey. During the preceding week, copies of the ordinance will be made available at the Clerk's office in the Municipal Building to members of the general public.
