Request for Use of Public Facilities

Groups or organizations that wish to use the Public Facilities must complete a "Public Facilities Request" form.

Whenever necessary, applicants can indicate on the form "see attached sheet", if they need more space than is provided, or if they have any special requests or circumstances that do not fit within the format of the application form.

In general, the Township does not approve exclusive use of a particular field for a complete calendar year. However, there will be times during the year that a given sports program may require "exclusive" use of particular field(s) in order to accommodate their program's games, practices, and unforeseen scheduling changes due to weather.

If an organization requests exclusive use of particular fields for a given period of time during the year— say, from 3 p.m. to dark, Monday thru Friday for example—this use will be considered for approval by the Township with the understanding that if another sports organization needs practice fields and/or game fields, and would like to utilize the fields that have been reserved at times that the first organization will not be using them, and if this will not conflict with the approved use, then the two organizations will meet and see if an acceptable arrangement can be worked out.

If such an arrangement is worked out, it is to be recorded in writing so that both groups know the details of the arrangement (specific dates, times and locations), and then provide the Township with a copy of that arrangement for its records and posting on the use calendar.
