SSVF Provides Assistance to Homeless and At-Risk Veterans and Their Families

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program provides assistance for veteran families in your area. This program, funded by a US Department of Veteran Affairs grant, aims to keep veteran families from losing their homes and to rapidly re-house homeless veterans and their families. SSVF services include temporary financial assistance and case management services ranging from assistance in finding jobs and child care to linking the veteran to healthcare services.

As a recipient of this grant, Community Hope is currently providing these services to veterans and veteran families in Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties.

Community Hope is New Jersey's largest charity serving homeless veterans and at-risk veteran families. Since 2004, we have helped more than 600 veterans break the cycle of homelessness and despair.

The confidential hotline number is 1-855-483-8466.
