TOWNSHIP OF WANTAGE

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES
OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WANTAGE TO DELETE CROSS REFERENCES
TO CHAPTER XXI, SECTION 21-1 ET SEQ., THE WANTAGE TOWNSHIP FEES CHAPTER.

Ordinance #2003-15

BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Township Committee of the Township of Wantage that the following sections of the Wantage Township General Ordinances are deleted in order to eliminate cross references to Chapter XXI entitled, “Wantage Township Fees”.

Section 1. The following subsections shall be deleted from Section 8-1.3:
8-1.3(c), 8-1.3(d), 8-1.3(e), 8-1.3(f), 8-1.3(g), 8-1.3(h), 8-1.3(i), 8-1.3(j), 8-1.3(k), 8-1.3(l), and 8-1.3(m).

Section 2. Section 15-3.4 shall be deleted in its entirety.

Section 3. Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such provision(s) shall be deemed severable and the remaining portions of this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.

Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions that are inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect after publication and passage according to law.

TAKE NOTICE that the above entitled ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Township Committee of the Township of Wantage, County of Sussex, New Jersey, held on September 11, 2003, and will be considered for final passage after public hearing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Township Committee to be held on September 25, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building, Route 23, Wantage, New Jersey. During the preceding week, copies of the ordinance will be made available at the Clerk's office in the Municipal Building to members of the general public.
