TOWNSHIP OF WANTAGE
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS
ON VARIOUS STREETS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WANTAGE
Ordinance #2003-16
BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee
of the Township of Wantage, that pursuant to the provisions of R.S.
39:4-140, the following described intersections are hereby designated
as STOP intersections:
1. Elkhorn Trail and Schawungunk Trail:
STOP Sign shall be installed on Schawungunk Trail
2. Newman Road and Schawungunk Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Schawungunk Trail
3. Newman Road and Woodland Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Woodland
Road
4. Erin Road and Newman Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Erin Road
5. Erin Road and Tomahawk Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed on Erin
Road
6. Tomahawk Trail and Neepaulin Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Tomahawk Trail
7. Tomahawk Trail and Schawungunk Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Tomahawk Trail
8. Greystone Court and Schawungunk Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Greystone Court
9. Fern Court and Woodland Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Fern
Court
10. Woodland Road and Schawungunk Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Woodland Road
11. Holly Court and Woodland Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Holly
Court
12. Pine Ridge Road and Schawungunk Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Pine Ridge Road
13. Pine Ridge Road and Neepaulin Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Pine Ridge Road
14. Pine Ridge Road and Birch Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Birch Drive
15. Partridge Road and Birch Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Partridge Road
16. Partridge Road and Elkhorn Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Partridge Road
17. Sioux Trail and Elkhorn Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed on Sioux
Trail
18. Pepperidge Road and Schawungunk Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Pepperidge Road
19. Pepperidge Road and Valley View Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Pepperidge Road.
20. Pepperidge Road and Upper Lake Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Pepperidge Road.
21. Pepperidge Road and Walnut Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Walnut Road.
22. Ravine Road and Alpine Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Alpine
Road.
23. Ravine Road and Arrowhead Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Ravine Road.
24. Ravine Road and Valley View Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Ravine Road.
25. Arrowhead Drive and Longview Terrace: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Arrowhead Drive
26. Longview Terrace and Alpine Road: STOP Signs shall be installed
on Alpine Road
27. Fairview Terrace and Alpine Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Alpine Road
28. Valley View Trail and Fairview Terrace: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Valley View Terrace
29. Longview Terrace and Valley View Terrace: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Longview Terrace
30. Orchard Drive and Lakeview Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Orchard Drive
31. Orchard Drive and Alder Terrace: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Orchard Drive
32. Alpine Road and Summit Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed on Summit
Drive
33. Hillside Drive and Red Oak Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Hillside Drive
34. Maple Lane and Red Oak Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Maple
Lane
35. Red Oak Road and Summit Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed on Red
Oak Road
36. Schawungunk Trail and Overlook Road: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Overlook Road
37. Schawungunk Trail and Alder Terrace: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Schawungunk Trail
38. Overlook Road and Walnut Road: STOP Signs shall be installed on
Walnut Road
39. Overlook Road and Orchard Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Overlook Road
40. Alder Terrace and Hickory Lane: STOP Signs shall be installed on
Alder Terrace
41. Alder Terrace and Neepaulin Drive: STOP Signs shall be installed
on Alder Terrace
42. Hickory Lane and Lakeview Drive: STOP Signs shall be installed on
Hickory Lane
43. Lakeview Drive and Old Clove Road: STOP Signs shall be installed
on Lakeview Drive
44. Hickory Lane and Butternut Lane: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Hickory Lane
45. Butternut Lane and Old Clove Road: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Butternut Lane
46. Fernwood Road and Old Clove Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Fernwood Road
47. Union Road and Bergen Avenue: STOP Sign shall be installed on Union
Road
48. Union Road and North Shore Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Union Road
49. Bergen Avenue and Morris Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Morris
Road
50. Morris Road and Ridge Circle: STOP Sign shall be installed on Ridge
Circle
51. Passaic Avenue and Vista Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Vista
Road
52. Warren Lane and Vista Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Vista
Road
53. Sussex Road and Warren Lane: STOP Sign shall be installed on Warren
Lane.
54. Sussex Road and Essex Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Sussex
Road.
55. Sussex Road and Passaic Avenue: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Sussex Road.
56. Hudson Avenue and North Shore Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Hudson Avenue.
57. Hudson Avenue and Essex Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on Hudson
Avenue.
58. Hudson Avenue and Passaic Avenue: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Hudson Avenue
59. Locust Road and Hickory Lane: STOP Sign shall be installed on Hickory
Lane
60. Locust Road and Old Clove Road: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Locust Road
61. Locust Road and South Shore Drive: STOP Sign shall be installed
on Locust Road
62. Dogwood Road and Elkhorn Trail: STOP Sign shall be installed on
Dogwood Road
Section 2. Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase
of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason
by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed
severable and the remaining portions of this Ordinance shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are repealed
to the extent of such inconsistency.

NOTICE is given that this ordinance amendment
was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Mayor
and Township Committee of the Township of Wantage, in the County of
Sussex, New Jersey, held on September 11, 2003. It will be further considered
for final passage with the proposed ordinance after public hearing at
a meeting of the Mayor and Township Committee to be held in the Wantage
Township Municipal Building, 888 Route 23, Wantage, New Jersey 07461,
on September 25, 2003, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., and copies of the ordinance
will be made available at the Clerk's office in the Municipal Building
to members of the general public.
