2004 Proposed Ordinances of Wantage Township

Ordinance # 2004-11

“AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER XIII OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WANTAGE, BEING THE ZONING CHAPTER”.

Statement of Purpose:

The purpose of this proposed amendment is to change all references from “R-1” zone to “RE-5” zone; to revise the official zoning map of the Township; and to include provisions for addressing the fair share housing obligation of the Township under COAH.
During the week prior to and up to and including the date of public hearing and proposed final adoption, copies of said Ordinance will be made available at no cost to members of the general public who shall request the same, at the Administrator Clerk’s Office, 888 State Highway Route 23 in Wantage, during regular business hours, Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.


Notice of Introduction and Date of Public Hearing:

Notice is hereby given that Ordinance 2004-11 was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Mayor and Committee of the Township of Wantage, in the County of Sussex, New Jersey, held on the 12th day of August 2004. It will be further considered for final passage after public hearing thereon, at a meeting of said Mayor and Committee to be held in the Wantage Municipal Building, 888 State Highway 23, in said Township, on September 9, 2004, said meeting to begin at 8:00 p.m.
