Ordinance # 2004-14

“An Ordinance Creating Residential Development Fees for Low And Moderate Income Housing In The Township of Wantage, County Of Sussex, State Of New Jersey”.

Statement of Purpose:

The purpose of this ordinance is to establish standards for the collection, maintenance and expenditure of development fees pursuant to COAH’s rules. Fees collected pursuant to this ordinance shall be used for the sole purpose of providing low and moderate-income housing. This section shall be interpreted within the framework of COAH’s rules on development fees.

During the week prior to and up to and including the date of public hearing and proposed final adoption, copies of said Ordinance will be made available at no cost to members of the general public who shall request the same, at the Administrator Clerk’s Office, 888 State Highway Route 23 in Wantage, during regular business hours, Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.


Notice of Introduction and Date of Public Hearing:

Notice is hereby given that Ordinance 2004-11 was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Mayor and Committee of the Township of Wantage, in the County of Sussex, New Jersey, held on the 12th day of August 2004. It will be further considered for final passage after public hearing thereon, at a meeting of said Mayor and Committee to be held in the Wantage Municipal Building, 888 State Highway 23, in said Township, on September 9, 2004, said meeting to begin at 8:00 p.m. .
