Mrs. Vanden Heuvel has an appointment with Mr. Yeager, she is going to see if it is possible to use the multipurpose room for Santa, the Book Fair and the crafts.

Ayes: Mrs. Stella, Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Pfeil. Excused: Mr. Williams

NEW BUSINESS

The Commission discussed an e-mail Mr. Doherty received regarding a new league for girls fastpitch softball. The resident is interested in obtaining field use for the spring or summer. As an alternative he is willing to pay to renovate a field with money from a business sponsorship. The Commission agreed with Mr. Doherty’s reply, they will review an application if submitted. A factor to be considered: whether or not to displace a previously-existing reserved use program. Mr. Doherty suggested he contact the executive board of Sussex Wantage Softball program to see if they can absorb the field use request into times when they will not be utilizing the fields. Another option Mr. Doherty suggested concerning the business sponsorship, the possibility of helping to pay for lights on existing fields. This would help accommodate greater scheduling availability for the existing field.

The Commission engaged in discussion concerning the parking at Woodbourne Park on Tuesday & Thursday evenings. Mr. Armstrong feels the park may be overscheduled. The general consensus is safety first.

Mrs. Stella announced that aerobics will begin January 2, 2006 and continuing until April 1, 2006. Classes will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Lawrence School.
