Assistance Available for Veterans Facing Housing Crisis
Family Promise of Sussex County is pleased to announce that we have secured funding specifically to support Veterans in our local community. This funding aims to alleviate the financial burden associated with housing by providing assistance with rent, utilities, and other essential needs.

Family Promise of Sussex County is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to assisting families in our local community that are facing a housing crisis. It currently has funding specifically set aside for veterans that can help them pay for rent, utilities, and other basic necessities.
Get Help with Utility Bills
Are you struggling to pay your utility bills? Family Promise of Sussex County can assist you in applying for LIHEAP, a utility assistance program that helps pay for heating and cooling costs. The Family Promise utility assistance team will walk you step-by-step through the application process to ensure that your assistance gets to you as soon as possible.
