Special Meeting Agenda
Agenda for a meeting of the Mayor and Committee of the Township of Wantage, held at the Municipal Building, 888 Route 23, Wantage, New Jersey, at 6 PM on May 28, 2026.
Mayor VanderGroef will call the meeting to order; Clerk will call the roll.
Mayor VanderGroef will state, "This meeting is being held in compliance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act, P.L. 1975, Ch. 231. It has been properly advertised and posted, and certified by the Clerk".
Mayor VanderGroef will invite all present to Salute the Flag.

The Mayor will open the meeting to the public at this time, for any questions or comments involving the good and welfare of the community. To help facilitate an orderly meeting and to permit the opportunity for anyone who wishes to be heard, please limit your comments to four minutes. Additional time may be granted, at the sole discretion of the Mayor and Committee. If you are reading from a prepared statement, or presenting a written document, please provide a copy to the Clerkâs office after making your comments, so it may be properly reflected in the minutes. After all persons have had an opportunity to address the governing body, the Mayor will close the meeting to the public and the Governing body will return to the regular order of business.
